Hey! My name is Matt Pasini. I am a transgender actor based in Los Angeles.
As a trans actor myself, I want to show transgender youth that their dreams can definitely be achieved and that there are successful people who have their back.
Let me start with a question: Do you ever feel alone? Like truly alone and outcasted, with no real reason why. Or maybe you feel as if everyone else has a manual to life and you just missed the day they were handed out?
I felt that way a lot in my childhood, adolescence, and even now. A big chunk of that is due to being Autistic, which I was diagnosed (finally) in adulthood. But a large part of my loneliness was a lack of transgender representation on screen.
They say, “Be the change you want to see in the world” and I’m doing just that. Not only do I have a special interest for acting and its my biggest passion, so is helping people. The current political climate can be so scary for trans youth and I remember being a trans teenager thinking that nobody was like me and I just needed to find ONE person to relate to. I don’t want anyone to think that what they’re going through is unnatural despite what the government is telling them. Being transgender is healthy and normal. I want to add to the transgender representation on screen, more specifically the BIPOC nonbinary side of things as I am Venezuelan Indigenous.
Most recently seen on Barry, represented by Park Artists Group in LA by Carrie Park and currently looking for a manager!
Never give up on your dreams. Make your existence a work of art, whatever that means to you.
